A filosofia não ensina a amar

posto que a lógica e o senso

não regem esse sentimento.

Amor não tem sexo, idade,

nem certidão de nascimento.

Acontece em qualquer lugar,

é pequenino ou imenso,

não tem culto ou santidade.

Quem já sentiu sabe o que é,

quem o aguarda, tenha fé!

not govern this feeling.

Love has no gender, age,

or birth certificate.

Happens anywhere,

is tiny or huge,

no worship or holiness.

Who felt it, kows it,

who waits, have faith!
